I applied for a role at Health Gorilla and appreciated how quickly they acknowledged my application. However, their screening process seems to rely entirely on AI and keyword matching. If your resume doesn’t use the exact phrasing their system is looking for, you’re rejected almost instantly—even if you have the right skills and experience.
While automation helps with volume, it felt impersonal and somewhat limiting. I believe the company is missing out on strong candidates simply because there’s no human review to catch nuances that AI overlooks.
