Health in Wales interview questions

The interview was based on competitive questions. The first interviewers introduced themselves and start with saying that they can't do sponsorship for this post. Although, I have mentioned in my Job application about my visa status and explicitly mentioned I required UK visa to work in Wales. There would be a possibility that this information was not picked by the hiring manager during shortlisting and I was shortlisted for the Interview. The hiring manager apologized for this inconvenience and asked whether I was still interested in continuing this interview. Even though there was a Zero (0) chance of getting this job I have decided to proceed with the interview on my free will.
