My interview with H&B was very drawn out, over a span of several months. I was brought in through a recruiter and I met with their newly promoted CFO, CEO, and a board member, all in separate interviews. However when it came to the final stage, they wanted another additional interview with the CEO and CFO. It was at that interview that I sensed the team had no idea what they were looking for and what their goals were for the company. It was also revealed to me that their processes have been very messy and in decline for many many years, even though they've had long term employees there.
it was because of these revelations that I decided I would not join the Company even if I got an offer. Even leading up to the offer decision, I did not appreciate how long it took them to decide whether or not they wanted to proceed with an offer.
