In the beginning of the process, I asked how long the entire process would take because over the last 2 years, potential employers have been in no rush to hire. They are in s a rush to get you scheduled but that's it. Be honest if this is the case. If you are looking for a better opportunity employers could care less that you are using any available time to speak with them and taking time off. I was told the process would be no longer than 2 weeks. It took over 6 weeks and 4 interviews later which the managers were late for to tell me they went with another candidate. And that is also fine except the fact that they kept telling me they were still interested.
