Interview
I was contacted via email over a month after I applied, requesting that I schedule my interview using an attached link. This was on a Monday and I scheduled for Thursday morning, however, the link indicated that the indicated time was in my time zone of GMT, although I am in Central Time Zone, but I figured I would confirm time when I received the confirmation and Zoom link with the information on who I would be interviewing with. When I never got a confirmation, I emailed the next day (no number was in the email and I could not find one) to inquire when I would receive the confirmation email with the link to the Zoom meeting and also that I needed to confirm time due to the fact that the time zone indicated was incorrect. I never received a response. Early Thursday morning, I was scouring the company website to try to find a number for HR, to no avail. I then scoured LinkedIn for the person who emailed me or someone working at the company with a title that could help me. The best I could find was the COO and I messaged him, indicating I was scheduled for an interview in just a few hours and had no information on it and my email from 2 days prior had gone unanswered. I did not get a response from him until the afternoon stating he would ask her to get back with me and I did not get good vibes based on this treatment as a candidate. I feel they are either incredibly disorganized or have zero respect for the time of their candidates/employees and I just let them know that I would not be pursuing employment with them. VERY poor first impression.
