It was one of the most lenghiest processess, that took 3 months and 7 interview rounds overall. 1st - Recruiter 2nd- Hiring Manager and a colleague 3rd - Another colleague 4th - Core Sustainability Presentation 5th - Hiring Manager 6th - Sustainability Director 7th - VP of random other departments who did a personality check (which i apparantely failed) In the 5th round, the hiring manager - John Frey shared the KPI's of the role with me, and also shared that my presentation skills were better than few of the internal candidates at HPE as well, which makes me the only candidate for this role now for the rest of the formalities. And also that the next 2 rounds are more of an introduction of me to their seniors and not interviews - giving me an indication that things are on the positive side. But the 7th round VPs thought I dint have 'enough executive presence' to handle thier clientele and hence I was rejected. And against their words, no previous experience or skills that I showed through out the 6 rounds mattered. In fact, inbetween the 6th and the 7th round, I was invited to meet a colleague over dinner as well in London, where we chatted for 3 long hours about what are we going to do as a team in 2023! I am posting this after a month as I am still not over this rejection. I ignored so many other processess and 2 offers( yeah, I am a fool), just in the wait of this process and the outcome, which was indicated to me as positive after the presentation round. The level of questions weren't difficult as it was all about what I have done previously and what I know about Sustainability and whether I am a cultural fit for HPE or not across all interviews. So no need for preperation. Just look nice and speak like an 'executive' and you should be fine!
