      Operations Manager Interview

      14 May 2026

      London, England
      Accepted offer

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Hived (London, England) in Apr 2026

      Interview

The interview process at HIVED was thorough and transparent throughout. I was impressed and welcomed by everyone involved throughout. Initially after applying, I was asked to respond to a case study regarding a typical problem you would face in a role. This took 15-20 minutes. After this, I was invited for a 30 minute online interview with the Operations Project Managers. This was relatively informal and gave chance for both sides to sound each other out. It involved a few questions around the role and gave me chance to ask more about the HIVED culture and the role itself. I was then invited for an in-person interview at one of their London sites. It comprised of an interview with the General Manager around the role & a culture-add interview with a member of the talent team. After this, there was time to network with some of the existing HIVED team to understand their experiences of the role and working for HIVED. Everyone was extremely transparent about the challenges that they face, as well as how rewarding the environment is. The last stage involved a 20-minute online call with Mathias, one of the co-founders. This was a relaxed and informal stage, allowing him to get to know me a little better and to offer some insight into what the future holds at HIVED. My overarching thought on the whole interview process is one of efficiency, transparency and thoroughness. Whilst some interview processes feel rushed, it really felt like HIVED cared about the hiring process and ensured they are added the right fit to their team.
