Everyone I met and spoke with was amazing! HR appears to be a very genuine and supportive group. That said, I’m still really confused about what happened. After my interview, they told me they had one more person scheduled. I told them that I had received another offer, and thanked them for everything. They said they liked to remain competitive and wanted to possibly compete with the offer (at least that’s how I took it). I told them I was very interested in furthering discussions. A couple of days later, the recruiter asked if I had considered her offer. I had never received an offer and made sure to double check my spam box. I gave her a different email and she sent me the offer stating that I had until 3pm the following day to respond. I signed that night, sent it back, and communicated to the other company that I had accepted a different offer. The next morning, the recruiter explained that the company would no longer be moving forward. I honestly don’t know what happened. I put the other company on hold because I really wanted to work with Hoffmann Brothers. It’s literally my dream job, and everyone being so kind really sweetened the deal! It’s kind of mean, but hopefully that wasn’t the intent. It was still a great process!
