I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Hollister Co. in Dec 2012
Interview
You can either be recruited by a manager and be given a password to apply for the online application or you can apply instore at the kiosk wihout being recruited or given any password. Hollister hold group interviews every Tuesday and Friday at 4pm, however it is known that Hollister aren't always intending to hire but have to hold interviews every week. A few days before my interview I had a call from a manager inviting me to an interview and I told them that I had already choosen to go that week. The manager who interviewed me was very friendly and made me feel comfortable, it is also helpful to get to know the rest of the group whilst waiting for the interview to start as it made me less nervous. We were told to say a bit about yourself (e.g name, age, about current occupation or studies) and one interesting fact about yourself. Then we were asked 3 simple questions. 1- How would your friends and family describe you a few words. 2- What makes Hollister as a brand stand out how would you describe it in 3 words. 3- How do you react when something is not going your way. Although these questions are simple I feel that they aren't good questions to be able to assess whether you are suitable for the position as you cannot get a good insight into how well the candidate will work in Hollister. After the questions have been asked we were told about their look policy where we were told there is seasonal uniform, flip flops all year round. Men- no jewellery, clean shaven, natural tidy hair (not obviously dyed) . Woman-Only small studs allowed for ear piercings, minimal make-up, natural hair (not obviously dyed).

They will ask “what does diversity mean to you?” And it was a group interview at the time, taking turns asking each person and having them answer in front of the other.
Super easy and laid back with an emphasis on diversity. Be yourself and don’t over dress. Keep smiling and don’t forget to bring real world examples. It is a group interview
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2021
Interview
It was a group interview with group and individual questions and activities. People were chosen at random to answer questions, most people got the same questions. It took about 30-45 minutes and I was offered the position shortly after
