I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Home Office (Sheffield, England) in Mar 2014
Interview
The interview process is very long winded and drawn out, for the salary offered it was very cumbersome. The application form is long winded and out of date. The length of time to hear back from the application to see if you had been successful for an interview. The sifting criteria was very strict. If you were good at writing application forms it was great, but not very realistic in the work place.
Fair, took around 30 mins, asked me to provide examples. Please remember to use the STAR method with providing examples. Had 2 individuals giving the interview both of whom were senior, location of interview was in Westminster only a few minutes walk from underground station.

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Home Office (Southport, England) in Aug 2023
Interview
Interview was online via an automated process. I actually preferred this interview method as I found it less intimidating than having a face to face interview. Overall I thought the interview process went well but getting the results afterwards took over 2 months
