I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at HomeGoods in Apr 2011
Interview
Did two interviews, basic questions you would expect from any big name retail outlet. Not hard. Basic paper application. Interview with three different people. If you have had experience interviewing before, you won't have a problem with this.

Question 1
What brought you to apply for a position to Homegoods?
Very simple and straightforward, How owuld you contribute, what's your experience etc. My employer in particular asked me questions relating to workplace culture, and what my connection to the business was
Hard to use virtual interview portal where you listen to prompts and record your response rather than speaking with a live person. The experience was frustrating, and it had a hard time recording my responses.
