HR uses 3rd parties to schedule interviews on phone with followup in person. I was asked to rearrange my schedule to come on 1 day notice to meet key decision makers when they were available as they wanted to fill the position very quickly. The interview schedule changed constantly with no communication to me or interviewers. Key people turned out not to be there. After a somewhat chaotic day in which I may have let my frustration show a bit , HR told me it would be a few weeks before they decided. I followed up a month later and was told I was excluded for lack of relevant experience, they had made an offer to a candidate who turned it down (as I would have after concluding my current role was a better job) and it was unfilled. Bottom line is that one must be patient with and aware of the way Honeywell HR and their contractors operate as it could impact your chances. I realized early in the onsite day that the role was less than I thought it was. Had this been my dream job, I would have done more to work around the process and been more tolerant of the utterly unprofessional behavior of the onsite HR person. Unfortunately, in this market I believe recruiters and HR are not incentived make things easy for candidates.
