1. 1 Screen with Hiring Manager
2. 1 SQL coding with Finance manager from another team
3. 2 Interviews with 2 guys from Europe team
The whole process was a bit whacky tbh. I was given the impression that the first interview was gonna be just a screen but it felt like a full interview with the manager asking me questions, probing and giving hypothetical scenarios with Hopper's problems. 2nd interview was very straight forward with the sql questions(joins/aggregates). Final 2 interviews felt very arbitrary. They asked about hopper price lock (just need to know how a call option works). I though these 2 final interviews were gonna be about my past experiences but they were just very unstructured and it felt like they were interviewing me just to get it over with. Oh also the 2nd interviewer was 15 mins late to the zoom meeting ad looked super disinterested.

Standard phone screen with recruiter about background/experience and information about the company/role. Followed by 1 on 1 video call with the hiring manager, who asked about experience. Received an email a few days later they moved forward with other candidates.
