      Web Developer Interview

      30 Oct 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I interviewed at Hot Coffey Design in Oct 2017

      I applied online.

      Interview

As mentioned in another posting, I was offered to come on (illegally) classified as a 1099 contractor while I should have been classified as a W-2 employee as per the relation I would have with the employer. During the interview, I was berated for my lack of experience (the job posting requested an entry-level job and I was a college graduate), but was told to come in at another time. I tried contacting them, but received no response. Generally speaking, the interview was very unprofessional and crossed legal lines.
