I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Human Interest (Penfield, NY) in Apr 2026
Interview
I had a referral for a TPM role.
The scheduling of the screen call itself felt very disjointed. Recruiter rescheduled twice, including one 10 mns before the actual call the recruiter wanted to have with me,
On the screen call itself, the recruiter stated that they had already moved forward with other internal candidates (understandable, it happens a lot) but mentioned another TPM opportunity for which he would move me to the interview loop. I never heard back, there was no follow-up.

Question 1
the typical "tell me about yourself" question and "why are you interested in joining the company?.
The interview process was the best experience I've had during an interview. The recruiter was informative, communicative and I always knew what the next step was. The teams I met with were personable and knowledgeable about the role they were hiring for and how it would create impact across the organization.

How do I manage to get buy-in from product managers?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Human Interest
Interview
The process consisted of six stages: an HR screen, an AI coding assessment focused on a scheduler, a hiring manager screen, a system design round for a reservation system, and two behavioral interviews. Although I completed five rounds, I was disappointed to receive an automated rejection email. Given the five-plus hours of time invested, I expected a more personal follow-up from the recruiting team
