for internship, the interview went very smoothly and friendly. it was like a nice chat with a mentor. maybe it's because i'm a CU student and CU hotel school has a partnership with the hotel. it may also be because the hotel lacks workforce, as in the case of many others. the manager basically asked about our interest and what department we would like to work in, but choices were limited.
for part time jobs, it's usually by referral, and there's no formal interview process.
