I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hyland (Westlake, OH) in Feb 2013
Interview
Applied via internet, got 1st phone interview, got second in-person interview, did not get offer. I was qualified for everything they asked and the interview went well. I believe from other reviews I've read and stories from a couple people in real life that they didn't want to pay what I was asking (median salary for this job by the way, and approx what I am making at the job now) and likely went with someone cheaper. I've heard it is a great place to work for a first, out of school job. They certainly have nice facilities and all people I interacted with were great.

Question 1
What is your favorite color and why? Unexpected because, like the "write a poem" section on the online application, it is irrelevant.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hyland in Jan 2015
Interview
I applied online and received an e-mail two weeks later requesting a phone interview. I set it up and they called promptly when the interview was scheduled. It was one woman on the other line and the interview lasted roughly 15 minutes. She was most interested in my studio abilities and the process which I make a video.
She said she had more interviews to conduct and from the sounds of it I was one of at least eight other candidates. She said they would schedule in-person interviews for select candidates and I should know within a week.
Well, it's been over a week and haven't heard anything, not even a response to my "thank you" e-mail.
