For a company that "promotes transparency and open communication while fostering a culture of trust, respect, and accountability among team members" it was really disappointing to be offered a Wedge One-Way Interview as the first step. No recruiter call. No meeting face-to-face with a real person. Just an AI-powered tool used to weed out 'undesirable' candidates. Any company that uses these tools for their hiring is NOT a place you want to work, as they don't care about you or your time. Interviews are a two-way street; candidates are evaluating companies just as much as companies are evaluating candidates. I wouldn't recommend interviewing with them.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ICANotes (Port of Spain) in Sept 2021
Interview
My job title for the interview was Support Agent. Since working at ICANotes, I've been promoted to QA.
It was via Zoom with a Panel of two.
The level of communication was great, no unnerving feelings.
The questions were standard position-based questions with a few personal questions (for example, geolocation, hobbies, etc.)
It was nice, 30 minute first round, second 45 minutes. Nice people and it was more conversations, culture fit assessment, and a lot of behavior questions. Be prepared with STAR responses.
