Super unprofessional and rushed. Phone interview. The recruiter contacted me via email. We exchanged a few emails until we decided on a date and time. She contacted me again after a few days, as if we never talked before. I answered all of her emails and confirmed the date and time once again. The day of the interview the recruiter never called me. I sent another email with no reply. I wrote on linkedin and she apologized saying she did not receive my emails, but a few minutes after she replied to the last email I sent. Therefore, lying about messing up. Took no responsibility for ignoring my emails and wasting my time. We decided she would call me the next day at 3:30 pm. Next day came, at 3:32 she wrote to me on linkedin to confirm again if we decided 3:30 would be the call. As if she couldn't check the emails we exchanged just the day before, in this way avoiding looking even more unprofessional. Anyway, she called me in the end, a few minutes later. The interview was rushed, she did not ask me any questions about myself, kept interrupting me when I was trying to tell her about my skills and experience, the only questions were why I chose the company and how I found the job, but incredibly rushed and anxiety provoking, like she had other million better things to do than interviewing me. She said its a hybrid position and if I would be ok with going to the office a few days a week. This confused me, as the job posting said its a fully remote position. (She also kept insisting the job posting clearly said hybrid. It did not. I have screenshots. So at this moment I was talking not with a responsible adult who is able to apologize for messing up and take responsibility for their many mistakes, but with a spoiled child who did not care about any other soul on earth). So I said, sure, I would be ok with working hybrid but is there an office in the city I live in? She got very irritated by my question, and told me that I should have searched that beforehand (with a scolding attitude). I said that I did research on the company, obviously, but the only location they had in my country was in a different city that I live in. She then terminated the interview, as I wouldn't be able to go to the office in a different city. So overall, a very bad experience, with a very, very unprofessional and unprepared recruiter.
