The interview process was smooth but the HR here are very lethargic they never respond to your queries not aware how to deal with the situations and how to handle things..

Interview
Interview process was quick with multiple rounds- one with Senior VP, followed by two rounds with MDs. The interviews were largely on prior experience with one interviewer asking in depth on the transactions I worked on & my contribution.
First interview- SVP- Technical including questions on:
- What do I know about IDFC - Latest financials, Net Worth, P/E, Loan Book breakup, Cost of Funding, Bank Licences
- Market data on sectors that I had experience in- Road, Power, Steel
- Brief Financial Model to be prepared
- Usual questions like Why IB? Why IDFC?
Second Interview- MD- General skill- based:
- As analysts you are expected to work in teams with exposure to financial modelling, presentations & technical documentation. Elaborate how you have exposure in each skill set.
- Few questions & details on transactions
Third Interview- MD- In-depth on CV with details & contribution on transactions
-The interview was CV- based with pointed questions on transaction exposure & contribution to the same.
Final Interview- AVP, HR - General behavioral questions
