The interviewer checked with the details on the resume, and then discussed academic paper that I finished during my graduate study, especially those about international trade. Then he asked some basic economic questions such as the components of GDP calculation and how to draft an economic research report.

What are the components of GDP and how to forecast them?
The interview process was smooth and professional. It was a 45-minute conversation focused on my background, interest in the role, relevant research experience, availability, and overall fit for the team. The interviewer also explained the position and gave me time to ask questions.
