I applied online. I interviewed at IIT Madras (Chennai) in Jul 2022
Interview
I applied for a research position related to catalyst development at IIT Madras. After the initial application and resume screening, I was invited for a technical interview. The interview was conducted by faculty members/research supervisors and lasted around 20–30 minutes. The discussion was primarily focused on my academic background, research experience, and projects. Most of the interview centered on understanding the work I had carried out, the experimental techniques I had used, and my understanding of the results. The overall process was straightforward and technical in nature, with a strong emphasis on project knowledge rather than aptitude or coding questions.
