I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA (Columbus, OH) in Sept 2019
Interview
I first spoke with a recruiter from IKEA via phone. She then set up an interview in the store with management. The interviews helped both me and the interviewer explore the possibilities of the position working for both of us. Then entire process was a positive one.

Question 1
How past experience would help with current position I applied for.
The recruiter was very accessible and she seemed like she really wanted me to succeed in the process. The interview with the hiring manager was conducted via video conference but it was still a wonderful experience like it was in person.

Question 1
Tell us about a time you received difficult feedback. What did you do? How did you respond?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA (Atlanta, GA) in Sept 2019
Interview
I am currently in the multi stage process of interviewing with IKEA. I had a telephone interview with Ralph from the corporate office who was very delightful and informative. I was expecting the usual barrage of “tell me about...” questions but it was instead more conversational - to the point that I felt I had a good understanding of the company’s culture and needs and he had and understanding of what I can contribute to that. I left the interview feeling very hopeful and excited about the opportunity to join the team. No offer as yet but I am hopeful.
Thank you so much for taking the time for sharing your valuable feedback. I'll be happy to relay the positive experience you had with the recruiter. We are constantly striving to improve and take pride in providing positive experiences to applicants.
