I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at IMC Trading (Amsterdam) in Feb 2024
Interview
OA was neurolympics which was reaction time, shoot the balls, etc. Practice is on the website. Also then had a video interview via hirevue
First round was some easy brainteasers and making a market on a number that's hard to immediately calculate, and some behavioural questions.
Applied late to skipped the technical round and went to final round.
Final round was market making, more brainteasers, a chat with an employee, and then HR round. Before final round they make you do a personality test.
They cared a lot about behavioural
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why IMC, Why trading, some basic Bayes law / random walk questions for the hirevue, more Bayesian inference / DP questions for final round interviews.
Probability based online assessment. Then a behavioural assesment over the phone with a friendly HR person. Asked "Why IMC?" and other basic questions like that. Didn't get through but great process. If i did it would've been a few technical interviews.

Question 1
They asked "Why IMC" and "Tell me 2 qualities that you have that would be good for trading"
It started with an online OA, followed by an online behavioral round, 2 consecutive technical interviews, and an onsite final round. The process was very smooth, leaving me well-prepared for each interview.
