I had my IMT interview scheduled for 15 February 2018- Afternoon slot. Cat percentile: 91.57. Consistent acads- 10/12/grad : 10 cgpa/ 93.6%/ 84.5% Eco hons (DU).
After verification of documents and a small doubt clearing session and post lunch, started with the process around 2 pm.
CT: Sliding GDP numbers- strong or weak leadership. It was a pretty interesting topic, had reasons to substantiate the topic. 20 mins
GE: we were a group of 11 ppl- 10 guys and me being the only girl. The panelists were provided time to read our CT sheets. Post that we were taken to a room and provided with the topic and material kit- design a poster to create awareness about drug addiction in the campus (can't recollect the exact lines though). We all discussed and kept our points. Instead of presenting- prepared 3 charts- solutions by stating different stakes that play a part, a poster, and testimonial chart. Things sailed off pretty fine.
PI: Reviews were they were not a grilling panel. Most of the discussion about their experience and engineering subjects.
Well they asked my graduation stream which I mentioned was Economics.
P1: what do u think about the budget.
Most sought after question esp being an economics graduate. I was prepared with key points.
P1: what has been done for women empowerment in the budget. I mentioned that schemes like…. were implemented in the recent past but nuthing very specific in this budget. Except probably the health policy for families.
P1: had u been the finance minister what would you have done.
I could nt come up with any specific sector and mentioned about the various policies and schemes and what I would hv taken care of was it's implementation which is most important. Mentioned a couple of loopholes in the policy framework.
P1 said he was done.
P2: asked about my work ex, calls I had and my hobbies.
