After applying via an online application I was contacted by the recruiter. She was super pleasant and shared more about the company and the role. Unfortunately, the in-person interview was excruciating. In fact, I actually regret not walking out. The hiring manager had very few positive remarks about the team; it seems no one was "good enough" for him. Candidates are always advised not to speak badly of their previous/current employer, and the same should go for the hiring manager. The 2nd interviewer was no better, she was extremely condescending. If you do not like the candidate, there is absolutely no reason to be rude and respond to their answers with: “Good for you.”
I highly suggest that the company invests in training for their managers and for their interviewing skills.
