I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at IPSY
Interview
Applied and got reached out by the recruiter. Recruiter was super friendly and professional. Then I had to do an assignment, pretty easy and straight forward. Then it was a phone call with the hiring manager (which was rescheduled literally 5 times). Talk to the hiring manager, off the bat she was rude . She was late to the phone call and then was rushing me telling me how much time we have left. Like pardon? You rescheduled me so many times and you were late, so please check your attitude. Overall, phone call was whatever, I honestly didn't care. I would never work want to work for someone that is rude. Clearly this person has no potential to be a manager. Honestly, I see no potential in this company, the concept will somehow die out.
Recruiter was nice and professional. However, the hiring manager was 10 minutes late to the call, didn't apologize, and sounded tired and unengaged. He asked me to go over my background, then barely asked any questions. If I was that unqualified, why waste both our time by having this interview?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IPSY (San Mateo, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
Spoke with the hiring manager on the phone, completed a take home exercise and then was brought on-site . It has been a month since the on-site and I have yet to hear anything. I reached out to the recruiter who said they would get back to me but it has been a week and still no news. I would rather just know either way.
