I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IPSY in Sept 2016
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter who wanted to reconnect with me. I had previously applied for a position a year ago for the Email Operations Specialist role which reviewing back to that application it appears they just changed the name to Lifecycle Marketing Specialist. I went ahead and coordinated a time to speak with the recruiter. She was very friendly and was very accommodating when scheduling our call. After several emails exchanges we were able to determine a time/date. On the first scheduled call she canceled & reschedule our call, the second scheduled call she missed our call due to an off-site emergency in which she had no access to email. At that point I was getting a bit concerned as a recruiter is your first glimpse of how a company operates.
Overall, I think the company is great the role seemed like a great & fun opportunity. There were definitely mixed messages in regards of how soon they are looking to fill the role. The recruiter stated that they are looking to fill the role immediately however also said they will take as long as it takes to find the right person and want it to be a "love match". The screen call was pretty easy no curve ball questions just the typical "walk me through your experience" along with the expected HR questions.
