I went there at around 12pm. First there was written round. Multiple choice questions. ASP.NET - 26 questions in 15 mins. Jquery - 12 questions in 15 mins. Javascript - 12 questions in 15 mins. SQL Server - 12 questions in 15 mins. This was approximately 1 hour process. Then they asked me to have lunch and come back for second round of interview. In few minutes i came back. And i was sitting there till 4pm. Then i went to ask when will my second round happen. Then they said we were calling but you didnt pick up. I got so pissed off. I told them i had my mobile in my hand the whole time. I was getting every other call, how are they lying to me on my face? Then they took me to the interviewer and he was actually very rude. He asked me only 5 questions. And he kept on making frustrating faces and i got all negative vibes. At the end he asked me do you have any questions. I felt like telling him i can see from your face that you have rejected me, then why should i ask you anything?
The interviewer was really really horrible. If they need people with just certain and exactly that particular knowledge then they should write in the Job description. I was given a job description that needed experience in SDLC, Agile, .NET MVC, C#, Jquery, Angular JS, Kendo UI, Entity Framework, Aurelia Framework, SQL Server (SP and functions), Unit testing (NUnit, Junit), TFS.
In no where in the JD it is mentioned anything about Design Patterns or an expert in Jquery. He also asked me about what process do we follow agile in my current company. Then he questioned me why are we spending more time in sprint planning. I answered him saying that that is our company's managements decision, i am involved only to follow the process. I cannot make a decision as to what process do we follow in the organisation.
The interview guy was extremely stupid and highly incompetent. He just knows few things that he uses on daily basis in his project. Apart from that he knows nothing. So he will not ask anything else also.
Finally after wasting my whole day, i came back home after 6pm. It was a weekday. I took half day leave from my current organisation. But i ended up taking full day leave.
