I recently went through the interview process for a role at IRIS Software Group and had a genuinely positive experience from start to finish.
After applying, I heard back within a day from an in-house recruiter named Bhavisha. She was absolutely lovely to speak with — very friendly and professional. She sent me the CCAT test and, because we connected so well during our conversation, she kindly extended the time slightly to ensure I could complete it without stress. She also shared a personality test with me and later sent a detailed analysis of the results, which I really appreciated. It gave me a nice insight into how they approach recruitment.
Following that, I interviewed with the head of the Payroll Tech Support/Customer Success area (I believe that was his role). The conversation was engaging and went really well — I felt heard and understood. I was then referred to a second interviewer, and again, we had a great rapport.
I made it to the final stage along with two other candidates. In the end, I wasn’t selected, as they were looking for someone with direct experience in accounting or payroll software — which I didn’t have. Still, I completely understand their reasoning.
Overall, I highly recommend IRIS Software Group’s recruitment process. Everyone I spoke with was respectful, open, and kind. Even though I didn’t land the job, I came away with a really good impression of the company and the people who work there.
