I applied online. I interviewed at IT Sligo (Sligo)
Interview
It was gruelling. 4 person 'Panel' with one, at least, .external'. Simple directions and easy to get through, if you know the answers off top of your head. Makes answering practical things difficult, if you are not versed in expressing it vocally/ for example things that you may do at an 'unconscious level'. For example, think about explaining how you 'change down gears' to Stop (if you drive). I had a bit of that. It was a fair and frank process.
Date and time offered in good time in advance. Clear instructions given. Panel interview via Microsoft Teams, various representation including management of function, other managers and external member. Panel took turns to ask questions. Opportunity for candidate questions.
Cordial with minimal technical assessment. There were five interviewers from various backgrounds each with different aspects to target in the interview process. Chairperson manages and directs the interview and its pace. Industry contributor brings some technical questions of no problem for someone comfortable in the field or discipline which is the subject of the appointment.
