Interview was the standard interview (normal questions, some specific to the job and my experience), but I was asked a question that immediately disqualified me from being considered: something about how I felt undervalued on campus for a cultural reason or something like that. It was a very odd question; the position was for their Ithaka S+R service that researches cultural communities and academic institutions (from my understanding), but asking such a question flies in the face of their mission of inclusion, as it immediately disqualifies anyone who did not have any bad issues on campus. Just because they didn't feel the effects doesn't mean they can't assist in research and helping colleges achieve the changes ITHAKA wants. The whole interview was really good until that weird question and I wasn't considered after.
