I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IUGO Mobile Entertainment (Vancouver, BC) in Nov 2019
Interview
First, they sent me an email to tell me that they have got my application, and they want to give me a test. Then they gave me a 2-hour long test. After a few days, they said I passed the test and they wanted to do an interview with me. So we arranged a time for the interview. The interview felt really good, everyone was very friendly and professional. After the interview, the HR also showed me around the studio.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IUGO Mobile Entertainment (Vancouver, BC) in Oct 2022
Interview
The interview process was smooth and fast. All interviewers showed themselves very professional, so it was a good impression. The tech task was easy, maybe too easy, it was a feeling they don't have high requirements for candidates and for work quality at the end, and during the offer discussion, I understood why. The proposed compensation was offensively low, especially for a contract occupation, it wasn't also somehow negotiable. I can't imagine any experienced software engineer could accept it.
