I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Icelandair in Mar 2020
Interview
It was very longI recently went through a pretty lengthy interview process for a job I was interested in. It definitely wasn't a quick or easy process, but in the end, I think it was worth it. There were multiple rounds of interviews, including a phone screen, a video interview, and an in-person interview with several members of the team. Each step of the way, I had to prepare and make sure I was presenting myself in the best possible light. It was definitely nerve-wracking at times, but I tried to stay calm and confident throughout. In the end, I was offered the job and I'm really excited to start soon. The long interview process was definitely a challenge, but I think it helped ensure that the company found the right candidate for the job.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Icelandair
Interview
Was registered at a job agency, Hagvangur. Got a call and asked if I would be willing to share my information to potential employer. I agreed. Then, one interview at Hagvangur. Then one interview at Icelandair. Then again interview at Hagvangur. Then hired and negotiate salary. I recommend when you're being hired and offered something in the future, have the offer printed on paper so you can refer to it when the time comes.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were like how I liked my previous employer, what I'd done there and what results I had gotten. Then how I would proceed with this company and solve problems there.
