I spent weeks on a back and forth email chain with hiring, after an initial phone call with HR. At the end, after asking for a salary range, they ghosted me for months and then sent an email saying no.

On phone interview with contractor; easy enough. concentrated largely on the resume/CV. I was able to answer all the questions. Took no longer than 20 minutes. There was no followup interview.
