I interviewed at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (Morton Grove, IL)
Interview
First you will have a phone screen and if that goes ok you will be invited for an interview at their hiring office and then an interview at the location you will actually be working at.
I thought the process was very professional until I completed the third interview and was told I would be contacted on a specific date and then heard nothing while my follow up emails were ignored.
I understand that I was not selected for the position and I accept that. However, job candidates put a great deal of time and effort into the interviewing process and I find it extremely unprofessional that a company like this can’t even send a generic automated “we went with another candidate but thanks for applying” email. This made the entire process feel very negative. I question the professionalism of a company that cannot extend a simple common courtesy to job applicants notifying them of the status of their application. I no longer have the respect I once did for this company. Have some empathy towards job applicants IBJI. A little courtesy goes a long way.
