Went through a recruiter, who set up 1st round phone interview with HR. Questions mostly around personality, motivation, career choices, and what types of techniques/machines I'd used before in a lab setting. 2nd round was with technical hiring manager, also over the phone. Much more specific about how much background I had in the company's products, i.e. genome sequencing, microarrays. Both interviewers were friendly and professional.

My interview process started off with a phone screening with an HR manager in the APAC team followed by an interview with the local hiring manager. I was asked to provide a brief presentation on my professional background, but I had one-day notice about this additional task for the interview.
