The interview consisted of an initial 1hr Teams interview, both technical and non-technical questions, with a manager and a senior engineer, followed by an on-site no-internet coding test.
In the on-site test, they expected me to put your phone away, but they didn't provisioned it, so I just had to put my phone on the floor outside the interview room.
They also didn't setup the test laptop properly, so a lot of my time was wasted on their fault.
The process was kind of disrespectful.
In the end, they called to ask if the salary expectation that I entered in the application form was real or "I just entered some random number"!
Their final offer was 20% lower than my expected salary, so I naturally rejected their offer.
The process was unprofessional and disrespectfulm, and wasted me almost a full day.
To prevent disappointment and wasterd time, I suggest applicants clarify their salary expectations in the beginning, because they apparently think people are not serious about the number they enter!
