      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed (Stamford, CT) in Dec 2019

      Interview

The interview process was very straightforward and clear. After a friend of mine submitted the referral for me, I quickly heard back to schedule a phone screening. They have you pick a date and time, and the screening itself is about 30 minutes. The screening is pretty basic; they ask some HR questions, plus questions like "Why do you want to work for Indeed?" "Why are you thinking of leaving your current job?" Keep in mind that if you want to stand out, add some value to your answers. Don't just give generic answers. Shortly after, there is a standard phone interview. They may ask some of the same questions! The idea is to keep your answers consistent and valuable. As some of these reviews have noted, they do in fact base most of their situational questions off the STAR method. Be prepared with stories to tell about your experience in customer service. They want to see that your a team player, collaborative, and a good problem solver. After the phone interview came a writing assessment. This is also pretty standard. They ask you to answer two questions: "Introduce yourself to a new client" and "Help a client set up their account on Indeed." You have 30 minutes to type up your answer! The key to passing this is really just good grammar. What I did was I wrote out my answers before and then typed them back into the fields, *NOT COPY AND PASTE*. Finally, there was the in-person interview. My interview time did get changed because of the holidays, but that was to be expected. Thankfully my recruiter was excellent in communicating with me and making sure I was kept in the loop. You may end up sitting down with a few managers, including possibly one that will be your direct manager. Again, come prepared with stories and experiences! Be enthusiastic! My recruiter gave me a tour of the office afterward, which was so nice. Really got to get a glimpse into the day-to-day. I received my offer about a week after my in-person interview! Overall it was a great experience and my best advice is to be prepared to talk about yourself! They want to know if you're going to be a good fit for their clients, and for your future team.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed in Jul 2025

      Interview

I applied online after seeing the opening on LinkedIn and was shortly after contacted for a screen by an internal recruiter. I passed this screen and within a week or so was invited to a first interview, which was a 30-minute presentation followed by some questions with a manager in both Client Success, and the partnered Account Management team. All seemed to go well and I was told I would hear back from my recruiter. I heard nothing for a month, except the couple of times I reached out to my recruiter, who advised that they had heard nothing from the hiring managers, until over a month had lapsed. Then I received a generic rejection email with no feedback, which does not feel fair after my time and efforts.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Indeed (Sydney) in Sept 2023

      Interview

The video interview was placed through the Indeed platform, which is very convenient, but the interviewer had an issue with the internet connection and I could not understand some replicas as the words were breaking. Also, it would be good to receive a reply as promised, even if it's negative. That is just totally not polite, I was expecting more from Indeed to be honest.
