5 interviews total. They have a clear idea of what they want for the role and were very nice through out the process. Most interviews were online and only the last one was in their offices (the CEO was late to this interview). However they constantly had this phrase on repeat âif someone invites you to a spaceship, you donât ask which seat youâre gettingâ. And that should be the reddest flag ever. Because what that translates to is that you should be grateful to be even interviewed let alone given the opportunity to join, even if what they offer is below market. And that was exactly the reason I declined the offer. They wanted a 50 hour work week, covering a position that required the knowledge of at least 3 professionals for below market salary, and also considering that part of the salary wouldnât actually be paid outright but given through a benefits card to use only in certain establishments. And with a 6 month trial period, where they could fire you without cause.
