I had 2 interviews at different locations, both interviewers both asked pretty much the same questions. you have to apply online and they will send you an email to book the appointment time if your application matches what they are looking for, the email will tell you to arrive 10 mins before your actual appointment time you chose.
Interview 1: She started off my telling me a little about their company, then asked me a few standard questions.
1. why did i want to work there?
2. what responsibilities do i think i need when helping customers?
3. difficult situation in which i came out successful?
4. an experience with a angry customer and how i handled it.
5. what my favorite book was, and why? (pretend like i was trying to convince a customer to read it)
The first interview only lasted like 10-15mins.
Interview 2: He started off by telling me the perks (30% off books and how you could "take out" books from the store to read, kind of like signing it out of a library), hours, responsibilities of the position i was applying for -- uniform, pay (which is $9.75/hour), and etc. (might i add my interviewer was late 20-25mins!)
1. tell me a little about yourself.
2. if i was going to go to school next semester, how many years?
2. Why this location?
3. difficult situation in which i came out successful?
4. an experience with a angry customer and how i handled it.
5. what my favorite book was, and why? ------- as you can see questions 3-5 are the same questions from my other interview. when i told him the book and explained why and such, he asked me if i had another book to recommend, ad so i named another.
6. when approaching a new customer or colleague, how do i approach them?
He asked me a few more questions, but i can't remember them all. My second interview lasted longer than the first one by 10-15mins.
