I was actually contacted by one of the hiring team members by referral from a former colleague. There was good momentum and communication with this particular individual that lasted about 4-6 weeks until another team member took over the communication. Not long after that I was ghosted. I can only speculate as to why I think they passed on me. When I inquired on what to expect as far as what the hourly rate would be she could not readily give me an answer. I told her what my hourly rate was as a freelancer (a rate that one of my current clients pays me with no arguments) and she told me that was high and that she would get back to me on what they're budget can afford. She/he/they lied. Never heard back from them after at least 3 attempts of trying to get updates. VERY unprofessional on their end!
