I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Innovations for Poverty Action (Washington, DC) in Apr 2014
Interview
I went through the first round and the Stata test before they finally asked me whether I was a Pakistani national. I had always indicated that I was a US national with no other work authorizations. They then told me that the role was only open to Pakistani nationals, and the process ended there. I was very frustrated because it seemed like they had wasted my time.

Question 1
Are you a Pakistani national? [asked in an email after the process had begun]
The interview was through Skype, since I am not living in America. It was the two research managers asking questions about the interview. They were easy to chat with. They were friendly people. But some of the questions really required background of RCTs/knowledge of development economics and some of the things that they are doing.
