I applied online through the company website, after seeing the job posting on Indeed.co.uk. After completing the application I was invited to complete an online situational judgement test. Approximately a week after completing the online test I was contacted by a member of the RSA recruitment team to arrange a telephone interview, which was a standard telephone interview detailing salary and work hours with some competency based questions added in. I was then invited to have an interview at the Liverpool offices. The interview was more of an assessment day which took around 3 hours and was split into 3 parts: a "speed-dating" style of interview where I was asked competency-based questions by several members of the RSA team, a team exercise, and a role-playing exercise which involved taking an inbound phone call from a member of the RSA team pretending to be a customer and then an exercise which required me to reply to an email sent by a customer. I found out that I had been accepted to continue on to the second interview stage (same day) and was invited through to speak to two unit managers. This part of the process involved me telling the unit managers a bit about myself and why I had chosen to apply for a job with RSA Motability. The whole process seemed daunting at first, but it was such a friendly and relaxed environment due to the staff always reminding me to just be myself and rephrasing questions (in the "speed-dating" interviews) so that I could fully grasp what kind of answer they were expecting. As a person that has never been to this type of interview/assessment day before, I was understandably nervous but each of the members of staff that were present did their upmost to put everyone at ease which made the whole process a lot easier.
