I applied online. I interviewed at Integrated Control Technology (Albany) in Dec 2023
Interview
The first interview was rather shallow but mostly ok. I was then re-scheduled to a first interview by accident and once the interview started I said "nice to see you again" which is what triggered them to realise they had booked the wrong meeting.
I was then given a task to create a presentation for the actual second interview which was in person. After spending 3 hours preparing and then presenting, I presented it to an incredibly disengaged exec, it's almost as if her mind was made up about me and that meeting being booked was another accident, at least that's how I felt.
I then followed up via email twice and never heard back, not even a "thank you", a "sorry" or a straight "no"
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Integrated Control Technology (Auckland, Auckland) in Jul 2021
Interview
To test for preparation, they ask questions that are easy to research. For example, “Can you tell us what you know about our company?” is something that a quick Google search could answer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
To test for listening and communication skills, they format some questions as directions. This gives candidates a clear idea of what they want from them while, at the same time, allowing them to see whether they can deliver.
