Interview
I have applied for this job twice in the past two years due to changes in my graduation timeline. The first time, I knew nothing and had no experience with software projects. I managed to reach the final stage but failed the coding assessments and answered only a few questions, which I found fair. The second time, I had gained a year of experience and quickly solved the questions, answering all but one. Despite this, I was still rejected because I didn't know how to answer that particular question. (I discussed it with some friends who are software development engineers, and many of them also didn't remember how to answer that question, but does it matter?)
The pay and platform do not seem competitive compared to larger companies, but the requirements are high, which is quite confusing since the whole interview process seemed so easy. I guess they are looking for candidates with extensive experience for this GRADUATE role. Anyway, I have received a return offer with better pay, but I'm upset about the time wasted.
