I interviewed with Intuitive on several occasions: in February, June, and July with a handful of different hiring managers.
I have never felt more disrespected or frustrated as a candidate in each instance:
1. February interview was both a screening and technical interview. Manager told me that I did well and would have moved on to the next step, but decided pursue an "internal candidate" instead. Why waste my time and yours if you were going to do that in the first place?
2. June interview was just a screening interview. Manager wanted to move forward with me, but was about to go on vacation and so wanted to wait until after for next step. Fast forward a couple weeks, I reach out to him again to confirm, and he goes "Who are you?" Are you serious?
3. July interview was yet another screening interview. This manager also wanted to move me forward and asked me to follow up with him afterwards. I got ghosted despite several efforts to reach out over a 2-3 week period.
I'm done. I was originally enthusiastic about wanting to work at Intuitive based on the reputation and technology, but now I have zero interest. If these are the kind of managers that Intuitive employs, it looks like I wouldn't have lasted long there anyway.
