I applied online. I interviewed at Iowa Democratic Party in Jul 2020
Interview
Interview process was long and drawn out. I was interviewed four different times by four different staff members before being rejected for the position. All staff members were very kind and made the interviews feel more like a conversation than a formal interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Iowa Democratic Party (New York, NY) in Apr 2014
Interview
The interview process consists of a number of phone interviews. Those who interviewed me were extremely nice and helpful; they answered all my questions. They asked the usual "strengths and weakness" questions and wanted at least one story having to do with leadership/overcoming an obstacle.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Iowa Democratic Party (Des Moines, IA) in Jul 2012
Interview
Oddly, I found the job on Craigslist.org when I'd been unemployed during the recession. I sent in my resume and received a call from the Des Moines office to set up a phone interview. I was pretty much hired on the spot and they gave me a time to meet for initial orientation in Des Moines.
