Interview
Applied online in late December, which is probably about the worst time to apply. Called store manager a month after and he said that they would not be hiring until June or later, but thank you for applying. A few weeks after that I mentioned to a friend who is the salon manager that I really wanted to work there and she printed out my application and said she would give it to the store manager. Maybe a half hour later I got a call from him to setup an interview. A few days later I went in for the interview, was taken to the break room to wait and then stared the interview in his office. It was a scripted set of customer service questions and then some about availability. I was offered and accepted a job. He called the next week to set up training.

If a customer asked you about suggestions for what to get there elderly grandmother what would you say to them?
It was overall easy. I was contacted over the phone to set up the interview. It was informal and relaxed. Hiring manager went over some standard questions. Discussed availability, salary
was simple and quick, not many questions were asked, it was a group interview where we helped each other builds blocks and keep it from falling down. The manager was watching us use teamwork together to understand if we all fit into their team environment.

Interview
Very easy and simple. Just answer questions with common sense. They ask several “what would you do in this situation” questions and they are pretty straightforward. Not hard at all.
