I applied online. Received a call a week later. I was scheduled for an in person interview the following week. They did a background check which took another week. Hired the following week.

There really was no difficult interview questions. Was like a conversation. They asked what my experience was in sales, availability and what department I was interested in working in.
It was overall an easy interview. In a group setting of interviewees, we were asked to each talk about what we thought good customer service was. Then, we had some blocks to build a structure, a house I remember. Without the person you were instructing being able to see the blueprint, you had to describe what to do with the blocks without touching the blocks. I didn't know how I did, but I got hired. This was the holidays of 2017. :)

I got a phone call to schedule an interview, which was quick and convenient. In the interview, one of the managers asked me star scenario questions and asked why I wanted to work for JCP. At the end of the interview, I got an offer.

Questions about school, work ethic, etc. suited for entry level. Easy interview, no discussion of salary, just of potential hours/etc, and also holdiday availability like on Christmas and Black Friday and thanksgiving. Easy interview
